MANCHESTER REGIONAL GROUP. Members Only. Full day visit to the Jewish Archives department of Manchester Central Library (9.00am to 5.00pm). As numbers are limited to 12 at any one time, early booking is recommended. You can book either the morning, afternoon or full day. Preference will be given to those members who have not participated previously in one of these research days. A committee meeting room is allocated to us, and the library's 34-page on-line catalague covering the Jewish archives can be viewed at http://www.manchester.gov.uk/site/scripts/download_info.php?downloadID=180&fileID=5244. A week before the visit, I will need to submit a list to Kevin Bolton (the principal archivist) of the items you wish to work with, as not everything is kept on site. In the past, Kevin and one of his assistants have both been on hand for the full day to work with us and offer help and advice.  Contact Lorna Kay
